Machine Learning Engineering Manager

Location: Remote Latam

Position Overview: We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software solutions using statistical, AI, and ML modeling approaches. This role involves managing a team of ML engineers, driving innovation, and collaborating cross-functionally to deploy solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage design, development, and maintenance of predictive analytics, ML, and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy use cases.
• Communicate advanced ML/AI concepts to facilitate decision-making.
• Support maintenance of existing models and service levels.
• Work with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to implement and refine ML algorithms.
• Stay updated with new learning approaches and technologies.
• Drive innovative ideas and lead in selecting use cases for ML applications.
• Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, and provide technical guidance.
• Establish and maintain Agile Scrum methodologies within the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to all policies and standards.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ML, AI, or software engineering.
• Equivalent experience considered based on demonstrated skills.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in statistical analysis and building predictive models.
• Experience with Agile software development (Scrum).
• Familiarity with compute clouds, database schemas, Linux admin, CI/CD, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience in building ML/AI models using R and Python.
