QA Automation Engineer (Chile Hybrid)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, and implementation of automated test scripts using advanced frameworks.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and validate product requirements.
• Maintain and optimize test automation frameworks for continuous integration and deployment.
• Analyze and report software defects with precision and facilitate their resolution.
• Mentor junior team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA automation experience.
• Proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
• Experience with API testing and RESTful web services.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• ISTQB or similar software testing certification.
